newbie question

ive seen on the forums how people say they gave marnid and borcha horses and black armour and stuff but i can't figure out how to do it.
any help would be appreciated

Simply click on the "Pary" button, or press (P) when you're not inside a town. Then talk to either hero, and say that you have a few items to "barter". You can sell it to them or give it to the for free. But careful, they can't equip everything you give them.

how do i give em freebies? they keep saying they dont have enough money
