Mind you, I do think some regular updates would be a good idea. It keeps the community happy and gives them things to discuss. But I'm not a game dev, so I don't know how hard it really is to keep that kind of thing up.

Sure it takes time away from the real development, but it's all a matter of proportions. Taking a few hours off to update the website would seem a good idea.

Agree. That website is starting to look completelly abandoned. It gives the impression that the game is also abandoned, and that can put away people who is thinking about buying the game and go to the website looking for information.

i don't mind that the next patch takes forever, but it would be great to know when i should expect it. i've wasted a lot of time just repeatively checking if it is out yet and also searching forums if there is any news of it. yes ive paid for it and all and enjoy the game very much. ive stopped playing it though.... just waiting for the next patch. i keep hearing it will be done soon lol

Well my "This game is awesome" thread was deleted outright, I came back the next day to see if anyone responded and it was completely gone. So... yeah.

I don't think we need frequent updates, I agree it would give us something to discuss, but it isn't Arm's responsibility to throw us scraps of meat here and there like dogs. Hes working on it, and we'll be updated when he finishes what he is doing. Patience folks.

Also, this game is well worth the pitance I paid for it, even as it is right now. It is getting agonizingly boring but thats because I've played what I can do to death, just play another game until he releases the mod tools and updates.

Have you guys ever tried to make a game?! Huh!! It's hella harder than modding. First you start from scrach and then build on. Miniatures, then the hardest part is coding and programming the game. Like the game "God of War". It's team consisted of 48+ creating that game. And it still took over a year and a 1/2. Plus, maybe you should be happy for current version because the older aren't as good.

Sure its not that hard. it takes time though, alot of time.
http://81.8.220.153/Files/U72-A.exe , a small game(opengl asteroids clone) i made 3 years ago or so (for windows) took me around 3 months. and its a hell of a lot smaller than m&b.
Also i don't know if the devs of M&B are getting enough money from this game to work on it full time (they might be forced to have normal jobs aswell).
