New to the Mount and Blade Series

So i tried the demo and watched videos of Mount and Blade:Warband, and I had to buy it. So i did, and if anyone wants to add me to play some games you can catch me on steam : =NF[R]= Inferior Baton

Good job, mate!  I bought the game myself about a week ago now and have been loving it since!
It's got a steep learning curve, so don't get too down if you're not getting any kills online for a bit. ;P

What is the best way to start the game? Going to play single player first, or so straight to the online play? And do alot of people play online?

There are still a lot of people that play online!  I'd suggest playing on the USGK siege server or 22nd siege server, though you should play the tutorial first and maybe some single player custom battles just to get the basics down.  Doesn't really matter whether you start singleplayer or mp first, though you will get more practise in singleplayer.
