They say the grave is from the mid-7th century which places it perfectly in time for Brytenwalda!

One can only guess who the other 3 buried people were. Perhaps servants to the (royal?) girl.

Amazing find, and that cross is gorgeous. I LOVE Anglo-Saxon art and metalwork. My favorite weapon in the mod is the Sutton Hoo sword, and I really wish there was a way to see more Saxon-style art in the game (brooches, jewelry, etc).

Yeah I think that the combination of gold and garnets is a beautiful combination.  I'm surprised that no modern jeweler has tried to make it fashionable once again.  Hell I'd wear it!
