Hey guys.

Im currently playing the Sword of Damocles mod for M&B and I gotta say it is AMAZING!!
And Im basically the King now of my Kingdom.

And really just in short: I was wondering if anyone ever thought of adding some more Rich looking Clothing to the game (Mainly Royalty ones. For Kings and Queens etc) because the only rich clothing I have at the minute is the Nobleman's Outfit, Rich Outfit and Courtly Outfit.
Which are the only 3 Rich Outfits in the game..

I was thinking more like Rich RICH clothing. Like this for example:

Thats basically a quick search for pics of ppl wif Royal Clothing and stuff. But does anyone know if there is any mods already that has this? Or does anyone know if anyone would make anything like this? Just a suggestion like . Just to feel way way more like the King of my Kingdom . Plus some Rings! Cause when Im in my castle Id normally feel like changing into the Rich Outfits and the only slots they fill are the torso and legs, but I was wanting to fill the Hand slots to with RINGS   . It would make the player look MORE MORE Rich. Its just guys...every little helps, these little things all put together can enhance gameplay and add more stuff to the world .

PS: I know earlier I mentioned Crowns but that doesnt matter now cause I belive Sybilla was making Crowns already which is a complete Miracle

Doesn't matter about the crowns now guys its just: Royal Outfits & Rings .
Just whats your opinions on this guys? You fink it shud be made?

Not really, unless they're adding a bunch of other stuff as well. I'm sure some modders will/have made stuff like that though.

I agree this is low on the list, but visually, it is a must when they get around to adding more variety (And I still say clothing should add to persuasion (Or take away from) as well as charisma, leadership, etc)

nice, but useless for the player, since (s)he always wears armour 24/7 in the game... unless you start roleplaying

Well with me I just wear Clothing and Armor half and half of the time in the game .
Its just for a more of a variety and realism of Noble stuff and to have a feel that Mount and Blade has a Noble and Rich and very appealing looking side to it than just kind of boring and poor and unwealthy side to it . Its a little hard to explain.

First of all the Tudors is awesome (The Pics above) Second, before adding such clothing I think they need to add more Role playing elements, as stated above there is no reason for someone to wear rich clothing when they could wear mail. Otherwise any new items are always good.

Lol ino I love it Tudors is amazing!. And its actually that which inspired me . Yes I know that there may not seem much point adding the clothing but as I said its for realism and to have a noble and civilized feel to it rather that just all plain war (hence always wearing Armor and all) :???:. As it makes Caldradia looks very VERY raw and plain with most of it being Armor. For example: The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, Im sure a lot o you know that game since its extremely famous and all , well that game has an equal selection of Clothing, Poor and Noble/Rich. And that is because they wanted to add realism to the game and to add it to each of the inhabitants of the Cities etc. Well I got bored of Oblivion and so I moved to M&B, and I can say still that Oblivions Clothing is far more creative and ideal than Mount and Blades is, dont get me wrong I LOVE Mount and Blade more than Oblivion now . But all in all it has more of a variety in it and more detailed than M&B. Surely you guys agree that theres more to it than just Armor and Mail and while im on that as this is somehow related, War?

Would be nice to see Native lords all wear clothing with some degree of different design so you could differentiate between who is who. Also why would a lord wear a ragged outfit or gambeson when not in battle?

Will Mount and Blade warband increase the Rich look to the important places such as Lords Halls and all?
Perhaps they wont make any new Noble Clothing but I was also concerned for the fact that Caldradia looks very very dull...

For example: (Lords Halls Mainly) When you go inside the Keep/Castle of a Town/Castle, wouldn't you expect that from coming in from outside with the Stonework and the grass and the average look, to come into a hall with Carpets, Curtains, Grand tables, Silver and Golden Objects and even a grand bed instead of them Poor looking beds that reside even in Lords Halls???.

I hope I explained that good enough lol, Im not good at explaining. But do yous know what I mean?

Its basically an Overhaul for the Lords Halls. Such as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, when you go into the Castles and Cities its already glimmering with wealth .

Yet in M&B the Lords Halls are dull and plain and...grey....(all the stone and brick).....yet it should have colour...

The middle ages weren't exactly constantly at the same level of wealth. M&B represents a rather dark age in the dark ages while Oblivion a more opulent, a richer one. Whereas M&B would be a bit like Norman stuff, but later and slightly richer, Oblivion would be somewhat Gothic, I think. That, and Oblivion is more of a "woo look at us being all fantasy" fantasy game and M&B a bit more realistic.

The latter I can certainly agree with. You're more likely to find far more realism in a cup of mount&blade then a bowl of Oblivion, if you take my meaning.

Yeah I understand what you mean there as I was thinking that myself because, from like the 1000's to the 1300's around about them times the Kingdoms and all were not very wealthy and perhaps some of the rich stuff were not even invented .

But the middle 1400's onward was then more Opulent and Rich. But even so, I know M&B is set in the 1200's so its not going to be very wealthy for Decorations or anything but, even still....if Im the lord of a castle...when im in the Lords Hall...i dont even feel like a Lord...
Or a King for SOD's purposes... It feels more like im jsut the head of like some lowly poor cult or something . I dont know its hard to explain but, even these simple things affect me very bad. Ive actully gotten a tiny bit bored of M&B cause of it  .
I know...Im weird lol. Its just depressing when playing it with the constant Stone...Stone...Stone...and more and more Stonework and grass. thats basically all I ever see in M&B really .

Does it not affect you guys? Lol

EDIT:
You're more likely to find far more realism in a cup of mount&blade then a bowl of Oblivion, if you take my meaning.

Im not referring to the fact Oblivion is a fantasy game or about its realism . It is simply like that because it is set in a fictional world with a fictional date. Therefore the makers just believed they could style it anyway they want. But the style is actully the same way the 1500's would have been. Due to the successfulness in wealth over the centuries. So what I mean is to have a 1500's style, in a game set in the 1200's, because of M&B's very poor and plain atmosphere.

The main difference between M&B and Oblivion is not the Fantasy/realism aspect, i would say its one went for looks and one went for gameplay.

M&B is still, i would say, a work in progress on the graphics front. I do think that the look of places needs to be improved, as does the clothing that lords wear, but i think there are more pressing matters; such as improving the campaign map, the factions, troops and most importantly, the battle system.

Yes of course there are more pressing matters, I know.
But when all them things are improved and all, I think the Prosperity of the Towns and Castles and maybe even the Villages should be realistically seen.
