New patch issue...

Hello. This is my first post. I registered mainly becuse of overbugged patch 1.142. As previous users, I have these problems with this patch too. I don't believe that Taleworlds or Paradox will fix this bug, but I have to tell about problem with patch.

This would work, but I have a Steam 5x5 and the converter is currently down. Otherwise, I would most definitely have rolled back.
 
Cant we not just dl the 1.134 and but it on top of the steamversion.
As I recall, only the steam "medals" is gone,... and to H... with them  :smile:
I am gonna try it right now any way, for the missing glows ect, is a pain in you know what.
 
i think this is because taleworlds ****ed up and released a fire and sword update into warband...

Found another bug... No matter how many prisoners there are in a castle, after taking it from enemy there is only ONE prisoner per unit type. For example: if there were 10 rhodok crossbowmen, 10 swadian footmen and 10 sarranid archers, after taking the castle there are only: 1 crossbowman, 1 footman and 1 archer. It's quite annoying when you can't replenish your losses or use those troops as garrison for new castle or town... Could someone report it (i still don't know where it should be done :wink:)?

Hi. I downloaded this and it's running and that's all fine. But is it the full game? If it is I'm assuming it's the demo version and will stop working after so long. I bought a boxed version that turned out to be the Steam version. It has a code on the back of the manual. Can I use that code to unlock the full game, or is that what one of the previous posters is talking about when he mentions Steam 5x5?

If I contacted Tale Worlds would they give me another code so I can activate the game, since I have bought the full game and it's not my fault they screwed it up with their patch so I can't play it properly?

No mate, once you have the key for the game ie. Warband, and you've used it on Taleworlds and added it to your games in your profile, it's never forgotten, also you can get the key from steam by right clicking the Mount & Blade  game name in your game library (ie Mount & Blade: Warband). You can only get keys from steam if you bought the game from steam tho. Or if it's a steam activated.

Hope I haven't confused you as much as I confused myself just then  :cool:

That was slightly confusing yes I'm afraid lol. Are you saying I can play the game and I won't need to activate it somehow? I don't recall entering the code on my boxed copy for anything yet. I was a bit confused about that.
 
New patch on Steam today if nobody noticed.
Gameplay:
Some rebalances to the trade/production systems.
Mod system Fixes:
Shield replacement w/out respawning visual error has been fixed.
Scene objects damage editing has been fixed.
Bug Fixes:
Crash to desktop when entering a new scene bug has been fixed.
Fixed random problems with merchants' inventories not showing up sometimes.
Lady of the Lake achievement bugs have been fixed.

I loaded up my savegame real quick to see if I could find the missing merchant items but still couldn't find any. Perhaps it takes a few days before they start showing up or maybe it only works on new games, I didn't have time to play long enough to check. I really don't wanna lose my savegame, can anyone confirm if the items start showing up after waiting awhile?
 
I can confirm that they are still there after over 2 and a half years of in-game time on a new save for version 1.143.
It may take up to 1 week before the "refresh merchants" script is called. But it wouldn't be longer than that to check.
 
I can also confirm that the new patch works with no issues, I have been running my Mod and Native today with no issues. Altho I had already installed the manual patch to my steam version yesterday, thismorning steam updated my game with a 20 something mb update as well. all works fine.
 
Yes I've noticed that Native works just fine, now I with that Floris would do the same... :sad:

Anyway as far as this post goes problem solved!

Mine now crashs 1 minute after loading a battle/town/server, delayed rather than gone completely :sad:
 
Seems downloading the full install of Warband 1.143 is fixing the issues. Too bad some of us have bandwidth shaping :sad:

Not for me. I downloaded the full 1.143 from Taleworlds, native works fine, but I still have gloves and ammo not show in the stores in Prophesy of Pendor mod.

1.142 changed how the engine handles store inventories, so mods will have to update to reflect this change to fix the bug.  All you can do is wait.
