Saneel: You can use the gems anyway you see fit. I would personally use them to get the potion that gives you +2 to all but intelligence. They are very helpful in the beginning when you are weak and need more strength and agility fast. Later on, you can use one on a map and then figure out what the mines do. Hiring Noldor is for people like Adrale who have too many gems to know what to do with, Noldor are great but they will die sooner or later.
You can get more gems by capturing named spawn leaders like Wolfbode The Slayer or one of the adventure companies (only if they have a named leader). The adventure companies are the easiest, some of them are quite hard. Regardless, you won't be defeating any named spawns for a while, unless you happen to pile on in a fight. I'm afraid these two Qualis Gems are the only ones you'll be getting for some time, which is why they are precious. If they were easy to get, it would ruin the game. Don't let Adrale's picture fool you, Qualis Gems are not common.

Considering there are people on the forum that're more than willing to answer simple questions like these rather than forcing a person to sit here picking through guides and hundreds of pages of questions, there is really no need to be so blunt towards people new to the mod. Obviously everyone is appreciative of the fact that Mad took the time and effort to code this mod, however that doesn't give him permission to be a cu** and not be called out on the matter. If he doesn't want to be bothered with simple questions like this he can simply choose not to answer them like hundreds of other people do, instead he decides to respond and be a complete di** about it. Thing is he took just as much time typing out that response as it would have taken to simply answer the question.

so that is pretty much a vaste, i buy some enterprise for 10 k and when they declare war on me i lose it -.- yaay. improving relations with noldor is pretty tough, is there any other way then helping them in battles? how much i need to have + relations with them to unlock that guy in tavern in laria?

Yeah, those enterprises goes "under sequestration" for the duration of the war and you're locked out of that income. But if you're only fighting a single war at a time, it's still sustainable in most cases. That's a max of 1500-2000 denars denied to you, which you can compensate for in other ways.
In order to acquire a castle or town you need to be at war with a faction. So that answers your question for 1/5.
As the rest - it depends. If all other kingdoms are bored and you may easily end up with a few war declarations. But no worries, you´ll be busy enough with fending off the first war. And if your kingdom is destroyed (means every location lost) war´s ending.

You bet they will because that castle belongs to someone who owned it but there is also a faction who wants it.So at least one faction will declare war but shortly after or at the same time the faction who wants it will declare.It all depends on who is at war with who.Read my guide "for new players"saneel 说:
