SP Musket Era New Mod "The Revolution" (version 0.4 released,mapper wanted!!)

but you do know everywhere in those times of 1700-1800 there was revolutions small rebels and  large  parts
might want to implement a big map and some small factions like the german empire  in few factions
just an idea
as i recall from the boring history  classes there where a few of the german factions ^^

other than that nothing els ^^ i'll try it out and come back to ya

Nice! Love it! I played beta. Some bugs, listed here
-Sometimes units get stuck while fighting, my units couldnt move forward or backward. Animation running, says that they are moving, just they arent
-The Arena sometimes screws up, saying you killed someone and you loot people (Don't know hat caused this one!)
-Major screwups in Rivacheg, Sargoth and Tihr, I can go through walls while on seige or just walking around

Right! somewhat displeased with the  low amount of weapon difrences...
NO HATS so sad
so plz add a few more  weapons types bc there was difrent kind of rifles like the jeager rifle
german rifle (talking bout the jeager) -> could use them in the prussian faction
ad difrent  dragoon types like light dragoons heavy dragoons  ( forgot  wich one has the rifle or both )
(in case of both having a rifle  implement the  melee'd dragoon)

Anyway you can put in the one thing for the smoke to stay for a few seconds then it goes away like in the mod eagle and the radiant cross?

Hi, well done on your mod and thanks for releasing it in the early stages! Gives a lot of us interested in the 18C something to do.

Obviously any observations should take into account the fact that you have released this with the intention of improving it. With that in mind, the only suggestion I want to make is the following:

All weapons seem to have been given "cut damage" including musket and pistol shots. This has the effect of nerfing infantry and making firearms weak and inconsistent. I personally think the armour values for the uniforms is ok and avoids the insta-death issues of WW2 China. To fix this I think it would be a simple case of making firearms do "piercing damage". As it stands, the cut damage isn't sufficent and has led to melee cavalry being far too powerfull.

Overall a great start, and I'm so glad somebody used those uniforms. Can I just say that I'm slightly indignant that you chose to include the "English" and not the "British" as it would have been in this time frame. Us Scots get mighty pissed off at that stuff, not to mention the Welsh and *some* Irish.

This is really a great mod....but there are some things that u can include in the newer version : 
1-better meele musket sounds
2-more weapons
3-more damage with firearms
4-that cloud (when musket fires) could stay in the air longer
5-and.. ....this isnt that important , but i will be happy to see something like a pistol duel(u know what i mean)
Anyway a good mod

What about the Ottoman.They played a major role in Europe during the 18th century

Some faction leaders have in battle orginal M&B armors thats not funny when enemmy lord rides with full plate armor to beat hell out of my soldiers. And England King is half naked in his city.

It will be setted in europe during the 18th century if I find a mapper who could make a europe map
It won't be as exactly historical as other mods like yours
