i can mod, i just cant do EVERYTHING by myself. It wont be like a whole world(would lag A LOT) but it will be big.
 
Which part of modding can you do? What kind of experience do you have? I don't think you should do something this big as a first project.
 
ya. try to scale it down. And when you later get that hang of it you could try making this one.
 
I tried a mod before which i had a small buginess problem with. I know how to add factions and all of that fun stuff. The only thing I dont know is scene making.

Whilst I respect your ambition, I find it hard to believe this will get made.

You are a recruit (no offence) and you are taking on an extraordinarily ambitious project.

We have very little idea of your modding ability.

You would earn alot more respect if you had done a little more work before releasing this mod.

A good place to start is making a map.

when you make the map, it tends to give the mod more of a direction.
 
If you fail to think of a name I doubt you can pull off such a huge project. I'd be pleased to be proven wrong but so far, I have never been.

Well, everyone says that but that's because it true: Start with some minimal modifications, try making a new version of native with another faction and take one step after another.

Well it wouldn't really be realistic, but an interesting idea. I mean, you'd have mountainous water and perfectly flat land. Unless you imported a topographic map that included water depths, but that'd give you extremely irregular land that'd be almost impossible to play on. Not to mention a good map of water depths is like, non-existant.
