Buy rusty ones, they cost half as much and do 3 less damage out of at least 60.  A rusty black stick only set me back about 1500
 
暗暗十分...... When i use sandstorm like 100 times in a row in a battle, after i go to report and then under the spells when i press view on sandstorm it didn't changed at all! Plz fix this bug :sad: Can anyone tell me why??

M8... I don't even get a POINT for using it 100 times..... so how the **** should use it 150 make a diffrent.... I just mean... its really annoying....

Zendar is across the southern bridge from Sargoth, on the Vaegir side of the river headed from Sargoth to Wercheg, on the opposite side of the mountain from Reyvadin.

I have a different problem with Zendar.  I added fisheye's autloot code to the Magic World source.  Everything compiled fine and playtests fine, but when I go to Zendar I spawn at the old town entrance, not in the tower, so I can't talk to the magic teacher.  Which is kind of a show stopper.  :cry:  I made no changes to scenes.py (which would be my guess as to what governs spawn points) and followed fisheye's instructions http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,50883.0.html exactly.  Can I get a little help from more experienced modders about where to look for the difference between the spawn point as it compiles from the source and the spawn point as it plays from the mod files?

Edit: Never mind.  Read up on the module system documentation and found how to control the magic teacher's spawn point instead.  Bring Mohammad to the mountain and all that.  So now the teacher is in the old armorer's shop in the Zendar town square.  Plus side of this is I can access the tavern and its chest without having to take a running jump off the tower onto the roof.  Downside is that good old Constable Hareck isn't looking so well anymore.

So, now I have all the greatness that is the Magic World, with zero hassle of upgrading my companions' kit and handing gear down the line.  Fisheye's menus deal with all of that in a single mouse click.  After a battle I grab what I want out of the loot screen, hit done, select upgrade heroes from the menu, confirm, and then go back into the loot screen and take the leftovers to sell.  It's teh coolest, you should try it.
 
Those whom the gods would humble, they first make proud  :oops:  I did my coding and tweaking based on the last source Pure Dark uploaded.  So I still have the wrong wizard in Narra  :cry:  Pure Dark, help?

Never mind, deleting Dean from troops.txt and decrementing the troop count seems to have done the trick.

Thanks for the update!  The new magic report interface is GREAT.  Makes it very handy but I am not sure what +/- 1 slider is for...  Anyways,  great work, keep it up. :cool:
When you get a magic level-up or a new title (magic apprentice, intermediate magician, etc) from casting enough spells, you'll get some magic points.  Use that slider to spend those points to improve a spell faster.

I'm curious now, I'm going to have to go to Narra before I get the patch and see if the buggy guy there is maybe a mage I didn't find elsewhere yet.  I've still never found a Vaegir mage unless Zendar counts as Vaegir land.

I know it's a bit overdue but thanks for pointing that out!  Much appreciated.

You get it after bringing the ale to the drunk in Jelkala

I think the wine quest is bugged:  I gave him the wine, he taught me Wave but the mission doesn't disapear from the quests menu. That doesn't bother me but since the quest isn't technically finished, ( when I talk to him he doesn't respond ) i can't give him the 20 ale : no mysterious medal. Any advice on this?
 
Are you sure you qualify for the ale quest?  I was able to complete both OK even though neither the ale nor wine quests ever cleared my quest log.

I searched the topic and I didn't find the requisites for the quest.

I'm a high level mage (lvl 14), fireball, searing ray and wave master.

Maybe I need to be a veteran mage or just a mage...

I ended up getting fire trail first before freezing trail (which is the ale quest reward, along with the medal you need to get through to the Narra mage).  Maybe you need to have fire trail before freezing trail, or maybe there's a mage level prereq for both that you haven't tripped yet.  With the new magic points system you can master spells at lower mage levels than in the first version of the mod.

2. Added magic points, every level of magic increase magic points by 10, you will also get extra points by gaining titles.
 

I've been playing with this mod for a bit now, but... how do I even access these screens? What are the keys used with the mod...?
