Cool. That was used by moors by that time, and later on also by Spanish. It even got to America in the early times of conquest.

I didn't know that it was even used by conquistadors in America, it's quite interesting.

the shield needs to be round on the sides like an apple.

Why ? This kind kind of shield could have different forms, and it isn't round on the Osprey picture I posted before.

swords and shields may need to be smaller, as it is exaggerated in size in warband.

I will probably decrease the size of the shield. But the size of the blade (which is from a sarranid one of the game) is OK for jineta sword, and in general for many islamic medieval swords.

Just a lil' question: do you plan to model the flemish "goedendag" weapon that became famous after the Golden Spurs battle? Simplistic weapon but kicked a lot of french knightly asses there

ahem could you specify "early times of conquest"? I seriously doubt that this type of shield has been seen in America EVER......
unless by a coincidence a native people used a similar shape......

I am damn proud of the hard work you guys put on this mod and I have to confess:

THIS MOD (project, atleast) was the reason that made me purchase my M&B (and ofc warband, when it were released).

I am anxiously waiting for it to be released for months already. In my humble opinion this EUROPA 1300 seems to easily become the best mod, atleast from all the other mods out there that I have tested.

You deserve to be payed for your work on this man! SERIOUSLY!
