Hey everyone! :party: I've been playing and modifiying gekokujo for my taste for months now, and i'd like to share some new kabuto models with you. Base models were made by : SSH - Sacred Stone Head, i just modified some of them a little for the sake of diversity. They are not top notch but if anyone want to use them here you go :

IMPORTANT!!!
This is the last part of the Diverse armor and Kabuto for Gekokujo mod, if you already have the part 1 and 2 please delete their resource files and restore the original item_kinds1.txt, then install the all in one pack.

This pack includes all the previous items with new ones such as Tokugawa Ieyasu's Kabuto, Uesugi Kenshin's and Otani Yo****sugu's Kabuto and Armor, Toyotomi Kabuto and Jinbaouri and more!

INSTALLATION :

MAKE A BACK UP OF YOUR MODULE AND ITEM KINDS FILES FIRST

1: Copy and paste everything in Texture file to your Textures file, click yes if it wants to overwrite (same with the resource files)
2:^ Same thing with resource file
3:Open your module.ini and add this to the bottom of the other load_mod_resource lines : load_mod_resource = diversearmorandkabuto
4:Open item_kinds1.txt copy everything and add them to your item_kinds1.txt file and add 46 to the number at top.

I didn't have the time to actually test them so if you encounter anything wrong please let me know and i'll fix it!


Real credits goes to the maker of SSH armors and kabuto, Gekokujo and Sugoroku teams!

Well, you should contact Hazegawa to have it incorporated as an official sub-submod for Sugoroku or maybe give him your permission to merge the files into the base mod, although if I was you I will choose the first option for the glory !  :cool:

Well i didn't know it was Toyotomi's Kabuto, im glad mine looks accurate  :lol:

Edit : And it looks like I also made his kozane armor without knowing it, im planning to release them if anyone is interested.  :lol:

and what about the armors are you done with them!!
i would really like to add all of them to my mod and ofc credits is yours!
annd i would really like to have a test game with all of them in gekokujo !! nice stuff buddy!

I will release them this week there will be 4 or 5 retextured kozane armors with 2 alternative models each, i will also release some more kozane kabutos! Expect Takeda Shingen.  :twisted:

I gotta agree, this is wonderful.  Now if only the game had an endless variety of armor/clothing for factions to look unique.  Would be cool to see kimonos, field wear, and samurai robes with sleeves tied for people like Maidens, Ronin, farmers, etc.  I mean the peasent women are not going to a party, they're working darnit!  I actually liked that about Way of the Samurai 4, some outfits provided tied up sleeves for that authentic look for combat in robes. :roll:

Part 2 is released! Also thank you all for your compliments, but the real credits goes to SSH, GEKOKUJO, SUGOROKU, i just re-modelled and re-textured them for players like me who want more armors and helmets (they are never really enough  :grin:). Have fun with new armor and kabuto, RP Takeda Shingen and Toyotomi Hideyoshi! :grin: :grin: Updated the first post and download link is there.

Also, this week i will release kabuto with Toyotomi Hideyoshi's crest on them.
