New Items

In the 'suggestions' section there's a thread on New weapons that you would like:

But I suppose it can't hurt brainstorming just any new items  :smile:

I'm guessing the new faction will be African/Arab, so there's a whole variety of armour and weapons that would fit.
Personally I've always wanted a sling and some more variety to clothes/armour though.
 
more one handed weapons, compared to the two handed weapons there is a limited variety in my opinion and i cant go into battle without a high quality one handed sword or axe  :smile:
 
I'd like to see more bows and more powerful crossbows. But cut the variety of arrows down ffs.  :roll:
 
I'd like to see more of a variety in daggers. Something like a kiris and different stab animations would be nice. Possibly you can customise what your weapon looks like w/o downloading skin editors?
 
i'm also hoping for a better variety of clothes, maybe some different trade items also, some more horse's couldn't hurt, they need to get the animation in for the large bag of khergit arrows, i always thought it would be good if your character got scars in battle too

But would this not be nice if different arrows would have different features, except the damage. For instance the range, the curve they fly,..

also i would like to see more customisation of the character, i was trying to find out how to get a scar and a blind eye in the forge, but i didn't really understand how to do it, would be good to have an option to change eyes and maybe put some scars on my characters face, also i would like to have the option to go into a town and massacre everyone instead of my weapon just bouncing off them, not that i would, but would be good to have it in there, more roleplaying would be good aswell

Don't be mean with him he had some good ideas (and some bad, though most of them have been mentioned before in other topics), tough I agree, that it was kinda off topic.
 
Tommylaw, you are technically right on amondrubee, but does it help? Kosmik has point IMO.
To slaughter children? Shame on you amondrubee!

In viking mod I always carry a dagger. Then towards the end of a battle...I call my men back a bit and walk up to the last guy and brutally kill him with the dagger only.
 
A lot more different-looking items similar to the current ones.

And throwing maces, boars, war elephants, dragons, .....  :wink:

I like using the short swords, they're not daggers, but they're really useful in the mobs that appear in sieges and large melees.
But specifically on daggers, I wouldn't exactly see the point of having more of them, unless M&B 2 will follow the realistic combat mods' foot steps and make all thrusting damage higher than slashing damage.
 
I wasnt the ability to go to a weaponsmith or armorer and ask them to show me a list of armor or weapons they can make for me, then tell them what kind of effort I want them to put into it, like just normal-balanced-tempered-masterwork.  That would be perfect.
