What a great game !
I just learned about it 3 days ago. Got my character to Level 6 and bought my serial key today.
I remember fondly playing Darklands and also the much later Blade of Darkness but gave up on the medieval genre mostly because no one in gaming history has managed to represent medieval combat system in a way that is not cumbersome on the one hand and simplistic on the other extreme.
I always wanted a medieval RPG with an immersive, dynamic gameworld with a combat system that is not only intuitive but convincing.
In that respect M&B is a godsend. Well done Armagan and Ipek !
The game has been bug free and rock solid on my computer.
M&B as it is in its current version feels very good in terms of combat balance. I have read some people complaining about the increased difficulty of executing Couched Lance Damage in v0.632, but I don't share that view. I have no problems executing Couched Lance Damage eventhough of the increased difficulty. This is a horse going at full gallop with a rider holding a heavy lance so obviously it should not be too easy to do.
Anyway, just wanted to show my appreciation to the developers for this great game. Keep on riding !
