New glitch in 1.3. Can't access companion inventory

When entering the inventory screen after newest patch, I can't access a specific companion. The inventory screen acts like he doesn't exist, even though he's been in my party the whole game. I also noticed in the Clan tab that I can't make a party with him because he's "busy with an issue".

Anyone experience the same thing?

I have the same problem. I think if they left the party for whatever reason, when they come back they no longer show in inventory. I have tried leaving them in a settlement and bringing them back or setting as governor but still no luck. Next thing I might try to kick them but I want their gear...

I have the same problem with several of my companions. Can't access them in inventory or create a party because they're busy.
It's the same ones who never came back when I sent them on a quest couple months ago, until a patch made them return. Since then I've never been able to create parties for them, but it wasn't until recently they disappeared from the inventory screen, possibly around the time when this post was created.

Same happened to me just now. I am sure i sent the companion on one quest, but they did return and are not busy. They appear "Traveling to..." then my city. They do not show up in inventory or trade screen. I tried kicking them from clan and rehiring, no dice. I am using a save from a week ago, but i really dont wanna lose my progress because i cant change my max scouts armor. Ah well i guess medium armor on her for this playthrough lol
