Very nice work. It seems you really like going witht the baggy pants style.

Thanks  I've mainly been using EB as my resource (http://www.europabarbarorum.com/factions_getai_units.html) and all the getai units seem to have baggy trousers.

An interesting quote about German warriors of the time:

Sometimes small variation works better than big variation  Less is more (sometimes) :p

Another interesting quote about German warriors:

german_soldiers_quote_02.jpg

An iron poor warrior society that really had to make-do. Practically no swords, no helmets, very very little armour, short spear heads, bone spears , clubs, increasing use of the sax, wide usage of celtic shields, lots of javelins.

It's a wonder the Romans didn't just walk all over them.

Any chance of some new nice Dacian helmets I've linked to way back?

I believe they used Phrygian helmets, some Thracian helmets, some sarmatian helmets and most likely, a few simple celtic helmets. According to the osprey book about the Dacians, they rarely wore helmets anyway, most likely only the nobles would have worn them. The Phrygian cap would be a good choice for some units, but I think as it is in the game, it's too big.

I've added two more armoured bodies to the set and revised one of the scale armour because the fabrics were very celtic.

Dacian bodies are basically done now.

cos you know what most ancient writers are like, talk more **** the most MPs

Rather than telling me that you think he's 'talking ****', how about providing some counter arguments and supporting evidence to disprove his claims?

So where do you recommend getting the information? Digging out the evidence ourselves?
