New Game Style: "Calradia FPS"

OK, so Stin and I were playing this yesterday, and I thought it'd be an amusing side of the game.

The basic premise of it is that you are a Calradian crossbowman, tasked with finding enemy crossbowmen.
You have had no experience in melee weapons, and as such you wield none.  You wield nothing but your trusty crossbows, of which you may have any combination of crossbows and bolts.

The Rules:

First Person only. (Honour system, here.)
As many crossbows as you want.
Agree with other people on what tier armour you're using, though when I played we went unarmoured.
No bows, throwing weapons, shields, or any non xbow/bolt item

((I might make a mod for this particular mode eventually if enough interest is generated.))

Map            - Village
Factions      - Swadia vs Rhodoks
Mode          - DM/TDM, or Conquest when it's finished.


((Also, please note that I am not a big fan of other FPS games, although I found this mode vaguely amusing.))

It is really not necessary at all, and useless, in my opinion.

It is really not necessary at all, and useless, in my opinion.

But it's rare these days for FPS games to provide a 3rd person view. It's almost always in 1st person...

Ok, but, in the end, what would be the difference? If you're playing a crossbowman, you most probably will be playing 1st person anyway. I think it is a "potentially dangerous" and completely unnecessary server option, that's it.

Personally I don`t like to play warband in fp, but apparently many people do. I agree that there could be few servers with this setting constantly on

Thats the reason why we went naked, that way the kicks and punches would actually do damage.
