In Progress New error on launch, can't find anything online

Hi, i've just installed Bannerlord and get an error on the first loading screen of the game. When i start the game, i get a white screen for a few seconds, then it jumps to the loading screen and the horse gallops for about 20 - 30 seconds before giving me the following error:

ERROR: ftdnManaged_interface::init() failed!

I've googled the error but nothing came up. I've also followed all other crash on launch guides that i could find but nothing works. I'm running windows 10 and have all the Microsoft stuff like NET and Visuals installed. I've updated my drivers and restarted my computer a few times.
