EDIT: And if both your Disc Drive and Hard Drive are IDE that mobo wont do. I has only one IDE slot.

1 IDE slot can support 2 IDE devices, so you're OK.

A 450W PSU should be OK, since I have Q6600 and 8800GTS with a 480W PSU. Looking good, no complaints on those components.

nuh uh...You'll need an at least 500W PSU incase you wanna risk everything blowing up.

I ran my dual-core, SLI, 3Gig of ram machine on a 400 watt for about a year. No harm done.

I doubt anyone cares, but I run my piece of crap machine off 250 watts and its ok, and my sister's dual core off 400 watts.

Two PSUs providing the very same real amount of wattage might represents different costs in the long run.

Say one of them has 500W nominated but provides actually 400W.
The other has 600W nominated, providing in reality the same 400W.

Though the 600W one, which has a 66% rate of actual usage will be cheaper than the 500W one (80% of usage), if power bills are taken into account, the latter will prove cheaper, for it'l provide the same 400W for your machine while using 500, instead of 600.

Gotta take all of it into account.
