In Progress New Companions Added Throughout Game Aren't Listed on Encyclopedia (Photo proof)

I didn't find this bug listed in the Known Issues thread
Quests, Main Story, and Dialogues
Summary: Companions added later in a play through aren't added to encyclopedia. This makes it impossible to look up wanderers as they join the game as well as see their stats before recruiting them.
How to Reproduce: Play game until new companions start spawning, then go to taverns to find them.
Media (Screenshots & Video): As you can see in the below photos frostbeard is not listed in the encyclopedia and right clicking his name brings up this merchant guy

if you reload after they're created you can't even recruit them.

I have the exact same issue. Only the companions generated at the start of the game are recruitable. Everyone else added along the way cant be recruited and doesnt come out in the encyclopedia
