New character starting stats...

Is there a list available somewhere of what kind of starting stat you get from the different choice at character creation in 3.3?

Apply a search, it´s posted somewhere, if not in the changelog.

The main difference is that a looter 9 guy isn´t possible anymore, if you pick that route you´ll get to looting 5 but the new looting routine was invented to rebalance that.

i guess I'm really bad at searching cause I only found old thread from last year on the subject and found nothing in the faq nor the wiki.

I´m pretty certain it´s mentioned in the wiki and recall the same question brought up last or two weeks ago. But since I always liked Master of Magic, I´ll try to provide you with the link.

Though slightly outdated. The recent thread where it was surveyed should be within the first three pages of the forum and rather easy to spot and if TB has the gratitude to repost the changes/all benefits it was great as well.

Yeah the link is outdated ... and it doesn't list all modifiers to skills, relations, gold and items that the player will start with (and it doesn't distinguish between female and male start characters).

The list is pretty long if I were to list it. It would take out the mystery of choosing too ... but if you email me (Noosers), I can send you the complete list in its raw format.

plus the changes in the patch 3.3 which eliminated the possibility to get loot 9 at the start.

Bleah, looting is not so important. I always put a lot of INT in character since here the enemies are so strong and i actually save money by not upgrading soldiers all the time, and i like to move fast, good for trading. So this change in looting means only less fighting for me:grin:

The change also made looting much more effective so... it,s the opposite, point in looting are worth more and you'd probably want to fight more.

Starting with high INT is - at least considered by me - one of the worst startings possible. Since you can grind the first 20 level really easy you´ll have more than enough points to distribute into STR, AGI and CHA to get the more benefical +1 skillpoint from INT lategame, when levels come hard.

That way you´re not tempted to flush points in some skill you´re not needing anyways but rather realize the lacks in your build and be able to easy compensate them late.

But personal choices differ. I just do it my way.

I spent all morning researching this and updated HippyPimp's list.  Some changes were made to Looting and I've added in female character stats as well (in bold).
