new activation question?

i didn't see this in forums so here it is as a new topic

i bought my serial key, things were good, etc, etc... but the computers the keys were put on were both my friend's (we have a lan setup in our basement, 6 or more computers in the house)

i was using my friend's computer he brought over from home, as mine died a long (long, long) time ago, he didn't need one at home so essentially it's been mine for quite some time

i must be tired... following the story thus far?, so that's 2 activations on 2 computers, thus it would seem to be the maximum allowance so far

but the thing is that i got a new computer, one that's actually mine, and so my friend took 'my' old one back to his house, before doing so i removed all my crap from it, and i think he just reformatted it

so now i'm stuck with a super good computer and a M+B level limit of 6

so i wonder; "could i get this reactivated for this computer"?, normally i wouldn't mind buying another serial key but i don't have any way to pay for it (though i guess if i don't mind waiting then i could money order it, but i do mind waiting  )

now i assume i'm screwed on this, but it makes me bring up the question; "is there a way to deactivate an activated account"?, and if there isn't then you now have that as brought up point you may or may not add as an option in the future

(if it matters [email protected])

It depends on whether the serial key is your friends or yours.

If its yours, then you'd need to get in touch with esellerate and see how you would go about altering your account details.

If its not yours, then you really should be buying a new key

thank you, but i found someone who has a useable card and will just buy me the game, i'd be happy to further fund the project anyways, figuring something out with esselerate (sp?) =mucho effort, and I= mucho laziness

if you activated on the other 2 computers more than 60 days ago you should be able to activate on a third computer now (i've used my serial on a total of 3 comps this far without any problems).
