History

The 1st Suomalainen Rykmentti was a Finnish Regiment fighting for the Swedish empire in the 1600s.
Many regiments were formed in the 1600s to fight such nations as Poland and Russia.
These regiments may have fought in battles like Kircholm or at sieges like Nyslott.

Hello. Might I, as a genuine Finnish person, point out that your regiment name is a cluster****. Please only use one language, here's a few examples:
- Ensimmäinen suomalainen rykmentti (in Finnish)
- 1st Finnish Regiment (in English)
- 1. Suomen rykmentti (in Finnish)
- 1st Regiment of Finland (In English)
- Först Finska regemente (In Swedish)
All I'm saying is that your current name hurts my brain and eyes.

You know, that would make sense if the name you were reserving was the name you're going to use. Not to mention it shouldn't be that big of a deal to change the thread title  Unless of course you intend to make a completely different regiment

Not much better, no. In Finnish, the ordinal numbers are marked by a dot after the number, so, if you want to keep on the 1st Finnish regiment, it should be 1. Suomalainen Rykmentti.
However, changing the name to "First Regiment of Finland", or "Suomen ensimmäinen (1.) rykmentti", would be much better. Anyhow, you should just take a one language and have the name in that instead of making the name a horrible mish-mash of many languages.

Right, back to complaining about the things you're doing wrong for no other reason than ignorance:
- You're using the modern rank system detailed in the Geneva conventions hundreds of years after the mods setting.
- There was no such thing as a Finnish regiment in the 17th century, nor is the idea of one existing half way sane in any way shape or form. There were regiments made up of Finnish soldiers (such as Hakkapeliitat), but they most certainly did not have 15th ranks.
- You've yet to fix the glaring fault of the "1st" in the name, as has been pointed out. Also please remove the word "New" from the thread title. There is no such as (and never has been) as the (Old) 1. Suomalainen Rykmentti.
- The mix of Finnish names and completely random tags is rather distracting as well. You get to pick either roleplaying or just being NW kids, not both.
- This last one is for making the OP more readable: Learn to use the tables. It's not hard and will make it look much better.
Thanks for your time.

its fine how it is it aint your reg i dont mind about it not being historically accurate

Then at the very least have the decency to not rape our language and change the name. Not to mention that you ignored over half of the points raised anyway.
