Neko and Hwicce

I tried to fight Neko, but doing so caused my relationship with Hwicce to go down to -100. So I couldn't fight him or escape because all the lords of Hwicce were suddenly my mortal enemies.

Is this a known issue that can be fixed or did my game just do something weird?

Neko quest dont affect to Hwicce kingdom, could this be for others causes?

I tried again in a new game and it went fine. It must have just been that particular save screwing up.
