Okay first of all, i've read all of the faqs and other stuff.
None of wich contained the answer to my quetstion.
Allright now my question is, every time that i try to start up the game, it gives me some error:
Unable to open file: Modules\Custom Settlements 0.67\Resource\CustomSettlements.brf

I've tried installing this mod over and over again, it just didnt work.
( As for the faq, there was one faq that had it, but it didnt work fully.
I had to overwrite stuff but it doesnt give me a pop-up where it asks if it can. )

You didn't read hard enough then, this is linked under the initial install file and marked *required* :)

Install that into the custom settlements mod folder and it'll work.

I had allready fixed it, turned out that it installs the folder not the file, had to do it manually.
Now i need to know, how the ... do i turn things around en higher/lower them.

I guess you are already in edit mode? Activate the help, it tells you most of what you need.

Yes i allready found out, turns out i sucks at it, my gates wont work or anything.
God i hate edditing allready ghehe.

If by gates you mean that your city gates don't move that's normal, as a rule objects are static.
If by gates you mean passages you have to give the passages the correct number for them to work, as a default they all have number 0 which leads nowhere, numbers 1 to 4 go like this:
  1. tavern
  2. manor
  3. castle
  4. prison

I mean like when i enter a town, and go to that move around the town option, you start outside of the castle/city.
Mine just block me and my horse.

Any way to fix that?

I think you entered one of the settlements without scene files (name starts with Empt). When you enter one of these you start outside the map and can't move. I found that when you dismount (if mounted) and jump you land inside the map and now can move.

The problem is that these scenes have no spawn points and so all are spawned outside the map. To change that you either have to edit the map and create some spawn points or copy some scene files so these got called. How to do that is described in the Settlement Scene Making Guide.

Err... I need help with
I can't change anything in my castle. I click on Scene editing mode, It take me to the map but there was nothing there.

Scene editing mode only brings you to the regular scene but without any npcs (peasants and whatever).

To edit a scene you have to enable the Mount&Blade edit mode as described here.

And for now the interior scenes (castle and tavern) are identical in each settlement. If you want to change them you better first make a copy of the original. To make changes you first have to enter the castle (or tavern) and then start editing.

I gave up on that but I have a problem with

Hawkrize_Tallglade_Reloaded.zip - ZIP archive, unpacked size 6,292,033 bytes

I download it and I think i going to use it. But its instruction doesnt make any sense

can anyone please tell me a very easy way of this?

To install:
1.Change the Y in the sco files to any empty settlement number you want to use.(For Tallglade)
2.Change the Z in the sco files to any empty settlement number you want to use.(For Hawkrize)
3.Replace the terrain code of the chosen settlement number in scenes.txt with 0x00000000b0000500400d2348000030a80000270800001162
And outer_terrain_plain.(For Tallglade)
4.Replace the terrain code of the chosen settlement number in scenes.txt with 0x0000000031a3854a000719ca00007f680000576c0000003b
And outer_terrain_plain.(For Hawkrize)

Alternative: Wait for the next version of the mod

Beside the description you have 18 files in a format scn_custom_settlement_e[number from 0 to 2]m[number from 0 to 2]_[Y or Z].sco

  1. If you want to use Tallglade copy all 9 files with a Y into the folder SceneObj.
If you want to use Hawkrize do the same with the files with a Z.
  2. Find out the number of your settlement
You find a list of settlements and their number in this post
  3. Change the Y or Z to that number
  4. Open the file scenes.txt
There are entries for the 9 files you copied, for example for settlement 6 with no upgrades you will find this
    scn_custom_settlement_e0m0_6 custom_settlement_e0m0_6 256 none none 0.000000 0.000000 240.000000 240.000000 -0.500000 0x0000000030a14906000d2348000070fc00001f8400005075
      0
      1  598
    outer_terrain_plain
Change the blue terrain code to the code for Tallglade (0x00000000b0000500400d2348000030a80000270800001162) or Hawkzize (0x0000000031a3854a000719ca00007f680000576c0000003b) and change the purple outer terrain to outer_terrain_plain (for both).
You have to do this 9 times, once for each scene.

If you have trouble finding the settlement number (possibly because you renamed it) the easiest way to find it is to look which settlement listed in the link above is missing, that's yours.
