NEED REPLY QUICK, easy question

i have the throwing spears that double as a polearm, but i dunno how to use polearm, it only throws them. thoughts?

There is a key for that I don't know which one is by default.
Middle mouse also works as a toggle (the wheel) for me but I don't remember if I set it up like that or it came with the game.
