Need mod help

I apologize in advance if this is posted in the wrong thread, I've looked all over here, as well as searched on google and I'm stumped abou where to put mods... I'm currently running lords and realms but I was searching the mods and found one for extra bow ammo in each bag. Only problem: I don't know where to put the .txt file...  Any help??

The exact name if the file is item_kinds1, but there is already one in the "l&r" folder which I'm guessing this is not supposed to replace...can extra item mode and whatnot only be used with vista??

Yeah, that's not compatible with anything but Native mount&blade.

Give me a few seconds and I'll get you the links to do it yourself.

Edit:
Here you go, use the item editor. Download, install, start the item editor and click File -> Open file, select the mod you want to change items in, select it's item_kinds1.txt file, find the arrows or other ammo you're looking for and change it's "max ammo" attribute to the number you want, then save.
