Recruit
just got the mod yesterday and been playing all day and i hardly have gained 600 gold after 2 months of my settlement... how do i gain gold fast so i can level up?
is there a certain amount of farmers etc that i shouldnt bother to pass?
also how do i gain heros relation with me, do i have to have 1000 gold in inventory for the bribe option to come up? because i never see one and people seem to mention it alot.

Gather as many peasants as you can and train them into the three different proffesions (besides soldiers). Each of these trained professions (and slaves) will produce a fixed amount of wood, food and stone and you also get some gold (depending on your population). High productivity gives a bonus to production (cheak the threads to see what else gives bonuses).

You can also get a lot of resources by looting other settlements (I recomend attacking settlements in control by bandits and trying to knock eveyone unconscious instead of killing so you get slaves).

You can bribe them with gold, help them in combat or when they are inside a settlement go there and if you stay long enough your relationship with them will rise (though this can take a LONG time - up to several hours of real time). Once you get your relationship with them to 10 or higher you can recruit them (IF you have room for them AND their troops in your party).

thanks alot that helped.. 1 more question, the emptai settlements, is there a way i can download or just put in preset villages or once they get high enough of a level will something show up? because they are just empty spaces... i feel bad when i loot and raid them >:D

You can download some of the settlements that were made so far. Check the threads a bit. There are some instructions on how to install them somewhere around here

Those settlements I know that are available are
Hawkrize, Tallglade and Squarodin from Rize
Nottburg and Morlia from Warcat92
LuoLan from HongYan
Emptsk (don't know the name) from GlenSkunk
Ashfurt from myself
You might find more, in my cases I included a file describing how to install it, I haven't unpacked the others (only downloaded them) so I'm not sure what you need to do.

Thanks for the compilation, looks like I missed one (Nottburg).

I guess it wasn't downloaded for a month, I put it up again:
Ashfurt

I also edited the link in my above post to reduce confusion
