the game wont start it always says cannot open commonres/costumes_a.brf please help me i really want to play this mod

You're playing on the wrong version. The Warband version and vanilla 1.011 are different mods.

i have the same problem but have steam should have update but dont?? what should i do???

If you have ordinary M&B, you could go to the TW download page for the latest M&B patch (I think it is..) (or here), download it & install it and then use your steam CD Key to enable it.

Dunno if that works for Warband but you could uninstall & reinstall it from Steam?

Also I do hope you're aware Warband and Vanilla M&B are different. And you have downloaded the right version of the mod for ordinary M&B or Warband 1.134 (and possibly onwards).

Sorry for the confusion but you haven't exactly provided much to work on.
