Need help with modding

Hello everyone.

So i want to start modding,but i have some questions which i would be greatful if anyone can answer. For example: I want to change the Winged Helmet (remove the wings for example) in which file is it located,or i dont even know in what format it is,but i just want to edit it in Wings3D or 3Ds max,but i understand that i can just import/export it. so please can anyone help me with this?  also,when i make a model,how can i make a texture for it? i mean making a texture for a cube is easy,but how can you change texture of a chainmail for example? or surcoat...

Everything you need to know to start modding is there. I personally use Wings 3d (for modeling), BRF Editor(for the brf files), OBJ2SMD (for exporting armor), Adobe Photoshop and Windows Paint (for textures), and DDS Converter (for the dds files). Those are all for graphics, and then the Module System for the actual modding.

I started with only basic programming experience on a Commodore 64 and older model computers, and now I have one mod released and another in the works. Most people get a crew together, but I, and likely many others, have proven you can do it all yourself. Good luck.  :mrgreen:
