Need Help Getting M&B: Warbands to Work

Hey all,

N00b here! I have had Mount&Blade for about a month now, only just recently (last night) bought Mount&Blade: Warbands.

I seem to be having trouble getting the game to a point where I can play it. So first I downloaded Steam, as was required, and then downloaded M&M: Warbands. So everything appeared to be going smoothly, and everything looked like it downloaded fine, and the icon short-cut appeared on my desktop. I was overwhelmed with excite and clicked the icon, much to my disappointment, nothing happened. After double, triple, and quadruple clicking (repeatedly), still nothing happened. Ejecting and putting the disk back in still did nothing, so I booted off the computer, and then turned it back on. Alas, I was still not able to access my newly bought game.

Could one of you possibly assist me?

And I apologize if this is in the wreong section or perhaps a stupid question. I'm rather new to this.

If you have it on steam, you should be able to open steam and click on the Library tab at the top. Click warband then click play
