Solution
Decide for a modelling software (Wings3D, Blender, etc.) then google for a tutorial creating spears, swords, helmets, shields (basic stuff) to get accustomed to the software before trying to create more complex armouries.

Use OpenBRF for resource management:
And the old documentation is still valid for adding an item if you use the Module System. Look for a similar one which already exists and copy paste the code for that one
If you don't want to dig dipper into Coding and only want to add new weapons/troops, use Morgh's Editor:

you should check, ASCII characters, for example your export location(like this
C:/Desktop/FİLE) has ğ,ö,ı,İ,ü etc... you can take error

yes, I've already told you to check your export location and determine if there are ASCII characters in the location address
