Need help for a Resigning Tweak

There is lots of topic with this name, but it not how to start one, i just need a few tips.

I'm at day 200+ and i think its time to get my own kingdom going.
I currently vassal of Swadia, used to be marshal, until i realised that controversy is a bad thing to have.
I got Sargoth under control and they are supportive to me (30+)
My problem is, i want to leave the king, but still keep my City.
When i take a new fief the king no longer offer me money for not giving me it, but simply just give it to some one, leaving me without the second option where i leave and get to keep the new captured city.
Is this due to high controversy, from my time as a bad marshal?

As for my own kingdom, i was thinking of getting my Farther- and Brother-In-Law (Clais and Devlian) to join me together with Haringoth and his son Regas.
As far as i know, Clais and Haringoth dot got a problem with each other, and I'm okay friends with em.
I too, got Matheld, Marnid and Borcha with me, with nice equipment, but as I'm using them for skill boosting i don't want to make em lords.

As for my plan, was to get rid of the Nords, by taking everything they own, and try to remain friends with Swadia, and figure something out with the Vaegirs.

make sure u select "ask xxx (the fief u capture)" and don't select ask no rewards...

also, other people have mentioned this, i supose its due to high controversy, don't do anything, lower ur controversy, and capture a fief, see if u get the message if u dont then ur in a bug situation

some1 posted a script to be bale to resing from ur current faction and keep ur lands, don't know the link, hopefully some1 will

What exactly will controversy do to you???? Will it affect your standing with other lords? So far i have seen lord with high controversy got exiled or changed faction.

I'm 100% sure when i pick the 1st option , but yeah i think its the high controversy fault. Let see what will happen when it get low.

I really don't know now, mine is at 98, thought keeping it high would make other Lords more likely to do what you tell them, but I've come to realise that it doesn't =S

Finally its confirmed, the controversy keeps me from not getting any fiefs.

So now I'm changing topic.
I would like to get some prof. help to tweak the resign option from the menu when talking with the King, so you get to keep you current fiefs.

And on the side. If anyone know how to change the amount of recruits you can recruit from villages, i would like to know how.

I think there's no way that you can resign without loosing you fiefs, although, you can remove the garrison from the towns/castles you own and later on, after resigning just take them, easily.

i tried this, but i still remain friends with the Kingdom of Swadia, so i have to lower it from 50+, kinda suck, and i planned to stay friends with Swadia, since i helped them capture a lot of land.

Come one guys, you really have to tell me there is no way to tweak/mod this? ;O
