Popular opinion says no

It's a good game in it's own right, but in general the plot is more linear while the levels are more open, if that makes sense. Plotwise there's not that much choice; you can complete missions for faction A or faction B for the most part. There's more approaches to the actual missions though, and several have sidequests or the like.

That's sad, I wonder if Deus Ex 3 will be back to the original style.

From what I have seen of the early screens of Deus Ex 3, its not really going back to the original style. Not even close if I remember correctly.
