Really unfortunate for the french team, I doubt the turkish team would have managed to draw without the reset. It was probably still the best way to handle it though. Just make sure something like this can't happen again by locking the servers after the players and streamers have joined.

We discussed the situation with admins and Turkish representative about what happened tonight and we will aim at replaying the match 'if possible', somewhere this week. If not, the result above will stand.
I speak in the name of the full French team when I say that we feel a bit 'stolen' about that last set even though it's nobody's fault but the one of the cretin who joined and ruined the match. Turkey played amazingly well, that first map stoned the **** out of us and it took us a lot of mental fortitude to initiate that come back. Whatever happens, good luck for your remaining match chaps.

In case it happens again: why not let the round time go to zero while staying in spawn and agree on not buying anything new? In that case *most* of the equipment stays the same and no team will have a disadvantage when the whole map is being restarted.

The whole 'replay the whole match' thing is between us and the Turks but it has no real background when it comes to rules that's why they are not forced to accept it. If we can make it happen, we will, and both teams accepted that the result of that match will stand as the actual official result. If not, the results will stay at 8-8.

It's a very smart way of doing it, but I dont really think anyone's bamboozled by it. Being cheated of them rounds, you should play either the second map or the last set, but again, if the Turkish team decides to take your offer on then they're not the smartest bunch.
There is only one round which caused the issue and we know it's possible to replay it. Recreating the situation before the teamkill happens and see how it plays out would be the fairest option but it has been ruled out by the administration because both France and Turkey accepted to replay it with default gear when it happened live. So as far as the situation goes, the result should stand.
Still, we offered Turkey to replay the whole match, to get the occasion to have a score which is the result of a match played fully without interruption. As far as we (French) are concerned, we would rather re-play the match and face the possibility of losing it, rather than have this draw be the final result.
Nobody's forcing Turkey hands and your post doesn't change anything in the slightest when it comes to their decision as you are basically mentioning things both parties are already fully aware and discussed on TeamSpeak hours ago. If you wish to go out of your way and make France look like the bad guys, or imply Turkey's players would be dumb to accept the rematch, be my guest.
