Week 1 Warnings​

• BeNe_Surkan played as BeNe_Michael, which is not the name on the roster.

These players will thus be officially warned under the following rule.

(1) Each team member may be listed by one name only in the team roster. During matches, players should play with that name, including a team tag.

Note that we specifically warn for names and tags that are completely different than described in the roster. We will not warn for, for example, the players UK2_Herishey using the name UK2_Heri.



The following teams will be warned.

• Russia & Ukraine
• Sweden & Norway

As they broke the following rule.

(1) Every team has to provide the tournament administration with a roster consisting of at least eight players, all of whom must own valid, legally bought copies of Mount & Blade: Warband. The failure to provide eight or more players (names and IDs) before the first official match results in the team's expulsion.

While the administration has decided to overrule the punishment described in the rule through common sense it is still the case that every other team followed this rule. As such, we will warn both teams and force them to post a full roster that includes at least 8 players and IDs, as well as all players that participated in the official.

Blade​

Blade has shown the past few weeks how little respect he has for the tournament administration and his fellow players. From repetitive insults, to 'pretending' to be the FRA_Aymerald teamkiller to provoke administrators, we have reached a staggering 100% involvement for Blade in incidents over the past weeks. Given his track record (WNL7), we have decided to not waste our time waiting for him to better himself, apply the following rules,

(1) Players should respect both the letter and the spirit of the rules.
(2) In order to maintain a serious and professional environment, players must be respectful and polite towards their opponents and anyone else on the forum sub-board and the tournament servers. If a player shows a poor attitude and displays rudeness or immaturity, he or she will be punished by the tournament administration. The range of punishments reaches from a warning to a ban from the tournament, depending on the weight of the crime.

And permanently ban him from the tournament. We hope he learns from this, but find it highly unlikely at this stage. He should know better by now.

After 3 weeks of behaving himself, apologizing to the community and expressing his intent for improvement, we have decided to unban Blade. We expect him to be a virtuous member of the community for the upcoming weeks and will not hesitate to permanently ban him again for any further offence.

Week 2, 3 & 4 Warnings​

Due to being understaffed in the last two weeks, we failed at properly warning the behaviours which we noted down as incorrect after having checked each match logs. As a matter of fairness towards the people who got warned during the first week, we will proceed with the following warnings too. However, since people were not necessarily capable of knowing what to fix due to a lack of official statement, we will only warn once for the second, three and fourth week altogether. This means that if you got warned during the second or third week, and repeated the same thing in the following week(s), you will only get warned once for all your offences (assuming it is your first offence in the tournament obviously).

We decided to opt for leniency first because most of the warnings are for an incorrect tag, names or ID and while most of the people warned are experienced players who should know the rules by now, it was also our responsibilities as admin to announce the warning in due times. From the fifth week onwards, we will make sure to check the logs and announce the punishments in time, which also means we will be less tolerant towards people with repeated offences.

Important: Due to some matches being delayed for Week 4, this post is likely to be edited so it's the responsibilities of the players to keep an eye on it and acknowledge their warning / other punishment.

Note that we specifically warn for names and tags that are completely different than described in the roster. We will not warn for, for example, the players UK2_Herishey using the name UK2_Heri. With that being said, we would like to remind the following players that even if their name alterations are not necessarily worth an official warning, we would still like them to use the exact same tag as their other teammates and a name alteration that is accepted like shown above. Do remember that you can request a name change here. If this happens again during the following weeks, we might be forced to official warn the following players:

Hagrid warned​

We find that Hagrid's behaviour crossed a line in the UK vs Turkey 2 match. As such, we have decided to warn him. Please note that for upcoming matches, we will not hesitate to take action mid-match if such insults repeat.

The behaviour both players exhibited after losing their semi-finals match is unacceptable. If Poland and UK decide to play their semi-finals match, they will have to play without these two.
