TALLIE


During NC 2015 Tallie legitimately signed up for the BeNe team, and then later played for the Georgia team with another ID. This is not allowed as per the following rule.

[anchor=tag10]§ 10 Multiteaming[/anchor]

(1) It is strictly prohibited for a player to play for more than one team during the tournament. If a player is found to have played for more than one team at any point he or she will be banned for the rest of the tournament.
(2) The second team to field the player will be deducted 3 points during group stage and disqualified during knockout stage. If a team is found to have violated the rule a second time that team will be suspended for the rest of the tournament.

Tallie is suspended for the first 2 matches of this tournament.

TEAM ISRAEL


During NC2015 some player During the NC 2016 some players signed up for the Israel team despite having no affiliation with Israel. They signed up under false names at the last minute and gave misleading information to the admins. This was in contravention of the following rule.

§ 6 Team Regulations
(2) Players are expected to play for their home nation.

All members of the 2015 Israel team who signed up under a false name and had no right to play for Israel will be suspended for the first 2 matches after they are signed up for a team. Players should contact an admin for clarification if needed.

DISTURBED


During NC 2015 Disturbed signed up under a disguised name for Israel and was therefore banned for 2 matches of this tournament as stated above
During this tournament Disturbed applied first for the German team and when that was not successful joined the Aus&Swiss team. He was not announced on their roster beforehand but played in the week1 match despite being banned. 
Disturbed has long self identified as German within the Warband community, and therefore for the purposes of the NC he is considered German.
Players should note that the rules are designed to be as flexible as possible for genuine cases of dual nationality but where there could be any question of nationality for the purposes of the NC, players must seek admin guidance for their particular case.

(1) Players should respect both the letter and the spirit of the rules. The responsibility for ensuring that this happens lies not with one individual - it involves captains, players and referees. It is through discipline, control and mutual respect that the spirit of the game flourishes and these are the qualities which forge the fellowship and sense of fair play essential to the game's ongoing success and survival.

(2) Players are expected to play for their home nation. If a team fields a player that is not eligible to play for them they will face sanctions up to and including forfeiting any rounds in which that player participated.

• Players who have participated before must play for the same nation as previously.

For playing while banned and for playing for a team which he is not entitled to represent Disturbed is banned for the rest of this NC

ARYS


Arys has admitted to playing two NC matches with an unlawful modification, that of highlighted projectiles, which produces an in game advantage, in contravention of the following rule.

§ 2 Cheating

(1) It is strictly prohibited to gain an advantage by modifying texture files or using game modifications such as aimbots or autoblock. Every player that is found to have modified texture files or using game modifications will be banned from the tournament.

Based on this Arys will be banned for the rest of this NC.

The admins would like to recognise Arys' substantial work for the community and general good conduct.

PEGASUS/PRESIDENT

Pegasus insulted the opposing team and the referee in contravention of the following rule.

§ 1 Maturity and Respect

(2) In order to maintain a serious and professional environment participants must be respectful and polite on the Nations Cup subboard, servers and streams. Every participant of the Nations Cup is advised to refrain from using language that is obscene, foul, vulgar, insulting, threatening, abusive, libelous, slanderous, defamatory or otherwise offensive or objectionable. If someone shows a poor attitude and displays rudeness or immaturity he or she will be punished by the tournament administration. The range of punishments reaches from a warning to a ban from of the tournament for players, depending on the weight of the incident, or respectively removal of streamer accreditation.

Austria&Switzerland have previously been warned about their unacceptable behaviour.

Based on this Pegasus will receive a one match ban.

It is noted that other members of the Austria & Switzerland team also insulted the referee on the server and through steam. The administration will not tolerate attempts to intimidate the referee in any way.  Austria & Switzerland are warned that any further disrespect of other teams or match officials will be viewed extremely seriously.
