navigation points for improved AI pathfinding in sieges

Some map-defined points to help the AI with pathfinding would help in certain sieges. Grundwalder castle is a particularly good example of this. Left to itself, the AI will attempt to scale a sheer cliff, which, despite the great climbing skills of horses and infantry, they more often than not, fail to climb (the arrows the enemy pelts them with doesn't help much either). This particular map requires the player (and his troops) to go up a piece of terrain of similar properties to a ladder.

That and also not all attacking from the same direction would help as well. You will usually see all the garrison troops in a clump on the side of the wall, just as the attackers are in a clump. Things need to be spread out a little more I think. When your troops scale the walls they should split in opposite directions slaughtering all forces on the walls, and eventually make their way down into the courtyard. That and their should be objectives for them.

"capture the two watch towers"

and

"capture and open the gate"

and finally,

"Secure the courtyard" Not necessarily in order, but it add more dimensions to capturing a fortress.

When sieging is Fixed, Grunwalder Castle is going to be incredibly fun to siege, and defend.
