Naval Battles.

Naval battles? Sounds cool

They sound like a great addition, but I have the feeling that they will be best on organized battles, while public ones can be quite a mess.

Thats based on how naval battles went on other mods, and considering i play mainly public battles.... 1. Also, more maps/factions are always nice

As long as the British models have been redone and buffed up nicer, then I shall be happy. Navy battles sounds pretty cool, so why the hell not.

Naval battles would be a great addition, I think. Driving a ship forward, "drive by shootings ," boarding... It all sounds like a great addition! I must agree with Reinhold with the organization of it. Publically, you'd have too many people saying "I want to drive!" or refusing to be a cannoneer...

On a related note, you'd have a whole new community of naval regiments spring up from no where. It'd definitely give more activity to the game, as well as the land combat release/ patches.

how can anyone answer this poll assumeing anything, we don't really know anything so actually truthfully answering this Poll is impossible.

I have an Idea, Release Something, anything! to the public...and give us an idea of what is going on. It's been nearly 9 months since the last patch.... i think everyone on these fourms desirves something.

For those still posting about land battle improvements.. Read the question again, I mean it is fairly clearly stated that its asking for your opinion assuming that the above has already been covered.

For those worrying about how well it would play as far as organisation goes: Troop limits. Only a "Captain troop" can pilot the ship. Only "sailors" can fix things/raise/lower sail/anchor, only "marines" have muskets, etc etc Obviously this is just tossing ideas around but it could be made to work.

By the way I hope some of you put two and two together like I did. [destructible buildings. Modulated destructible buildings.=modulated destructible ships?] (Translation= think of the destruction of ships in napoleon or empire total war, where a cannon ball hits gets damaged)
