Hello,

Without the new update of IG_BG, NGF would have been still more popular than IG_BG, but they released such a clever update. Anyway our aim wasn't to compete with IG_BG but the to add a third server to the rotation : IG_BG, The Ludus, and NGF.

Thanks to Smiley, Chaff & AlphA for their amazing work. Thanks to the admins to maintain the server enjoyable.

We'll open it again on Bannerlord for sure.

Btw if someone really want to keep this server alive and want to be the new owner, pm me.

I'd be sad to see this go, it was a good idea and you put a lot of work into it, with a cool stats table etc.

Its not like its always empty though, i go on and wait 3-5 mins and by then 10 people will be on

It is your opinion. Before the instant flag people came on NGF because you don't have to wait too long to play and also because the rounds are fast contrary to IG_BG where rounds are too long and where both teams run in circle.

By doing this instant, they just did the perfect update.
 
I always thought instant flags was a **** idea. It does start the fights quicker, but if majority of the team wont go to flag but just fight like in Verloren for example, the round ends and over half of both teams is still alive

Ontop of that the maps arnt changed at all and on some maps one team can spawn literally next to the flag and have it pretty much raised before the other team even gets there

I'm basing it on players actually playing. The number of players on IG is only capped nowadays before important matches are being played. Otherwise, both servers are fairly dead.

There's also quite a sizable amount of circle running on Native Group Fighting...

People not playing the objective is an issue in plenty of games, doesn't mean it's a bad idea, means people need to change playstyle (:eek:). The raise-time does need altering, Oliveran is avoiding it for some reason. OLIVERAN I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME.

It's still fundamentally better than running in a circle and agree with Tiberias it breathed life into the IG. Well done whoever pushed for it I say! The one dimensional aspect of groupfight along with success of cheese tactics also meant people eventually wanted something more.

Okay I'm going to rephrase myself since I kinda agree with you. The idea wasn't ****ty, but the outcome was
 
Nobody on IG cares about the team so how could instant flag spawn fix circle running. The only good thing about it is that if you die early the round is going to end soon, because threre still are some ultimate tryhards who think team victory means anything and theyll try to raise the flag.
Rounds are shorter so circle running doesnt hurt that much.
 
Loads of IG rounds still end with full deaths and circling is much less prevalent. The only rounds that end early are the imbalanced flags due to the low time to raise or rounds where a stack of idiots literally run to the other end of the map, aka DoF.
 
I have the feel its more standing around and watch archers shooting at each other then circling  :party:
