And let's leave your argument at that, shall we? I didn't even bother to read all of it because I would have gotten frustrated and penalized somebody.
As for Rhade's point (which is legitimate, I admit), there is still an advantage to being ranked highest for the playoffs. You don't get a bye, but you do get the most advantageous matches. I'll post the full bracket after the last challenge is concluded (wK vs. LES) but you can know now that BkS (rank 1) will be fighting Wappaw (rank
Team 1

Team 8
Team 4

Team 5
Team 2

Team 7
Team 3

Team 6
Advantage-wise, this gives Team 1 the "easiest" route to the final match. The highest ranked team they might face is ranked 4. Team 2 has a distinct advantage in their first match, and if they win they fight the team directly beneath them for their second match. Team 3 is likewise at an advantage, though not as much. Team 4 gets to fight at a very slight advantage. So, the top 4 teams still get optimal placement on the ladder. If the rankings are perfectly accurate, second round would be:
Team 1
vs.
Team 4
Team 2
vs.
Team 3
Again, team 1 has the largest advantage, and team 2 still has a bit of an advantage. Then, assuming ranks are accurate, it comes down to team 1 versus team 2.
See? There's still perks to being at the top.
