B.  Roster Substitutions
Roster substitutions are permitted during the first three months of a season. Ladder administrators must be notified of a substitution and it must be approved before the substitution is finalized. The substituted player must remain on the team for 24 hours before they can be played in a match. Likewise, players that leave a team must wait 24 hours before they can join a new team and ladder administrators must be notified of their leaving. These times stack, so players wishing to swap teams must wait a total of 48 hours before they can be played.
A substitute is any player added to the roster after submission of the team. Captainlust was added after you submitted the team, ergo he is a substitute.

Since this is the first incident on a new rule set (and I realize it's a really long read), I'll let you guys decide how you want it to be handled. These are your options:

1st: Ra can allow the substitution to go uncontested. Results will be the same.
2nd: Ra can contest the substitution. The match will be replayed.

I'd like to hear from team captains on this, not team members. Shoot me a PM.

Yep, figured I'd be an addition, rather than a "subsitution" since I wasn't substituted for anyone (see: Definition of "subsitution" - "The action of replacing someone or something with another person or thing"). Should probably have checked though.

I think the issue was that Catholic didn't think Lust was a 'substitute,' therefore didn't expect that rule to apply. I'm sure we accept any punishments though, of course.

You're replacing an empty slot with a filled slot. Once a team is submitted, its roster is considered complete. Any changes to that roster are considered substitutions, and substitutions must follow the substitution rules.

I'll put this in the team registration post to avoid future confusion.

@Orion:

Understandable I guess, however I would recommend more clarity in the rules to prevent further confusion. Especially since "empty slots" aren't shown as such nor are they mentioned anywhere in the rules. The idea that they exist must therefore be purely based on assumption.

GG RA anyway and there's still plenty of time for us to strike back .

Teams have a maximum number of slots (9), and if a roster only consists of 6 players it is assumed they have 3 empty slots they could fill. I did add the distinction to the second post of this thread, right under the team registration form. Let's sort this one incident out and move on.

LES added to the registered teams post.

Captainlust added to the CRAP roster. He cannot play for 24 hours after being added to the team!

Expect ladder image update any minute now.

In that case, I'm assuming our match goes unranked then.

Either way, well fought. That stupid ****ing admin panel. I set it to 120 minutes but apparently someone had changed the team limit to 8, which, in Vince's does the combined scores (unliked native which does total score, hence me getting confused)

It's not going to be counted until the dispute is resolved and a ladder admin gets screenshots of the end-of-round scoreboards. Screenshots are required for match results to be counted as valid.

It's in the rules. Match results section.

I have screenshots and stuff but they played an illegal ra-ster. And they weren't actually added to the ladder until afterward. Under normal circumstances I'd say illegal ra-ster means a loss of match, but considering it was ambigious I'd just say unranked. But go to another admin on this, since I was in the fight, so I might be unconsciously biased.

screenshots for second map, third map and the ending of the first (as it messed up)
I am willing to take the match not counting, I would debate an automatic loss.
It was a good match either way, Ra fought extremely well and it was close.

/drama

Well played !  was worried when my computer crashed in that second map lol, "get in suriell!!!'
