Maybe they were rescaled to make it more difficult? I'm certain they know it's still possible to jump, and it is by no means a hard jump. You can approach from a rather wide angle, and your timing doesn't have to be perfect. There's no "guess and check" to it, it's the easiest trick jump on that map, and in my opinion it's the least advantageous.
The wooden beams in the rear, right-hand ruins (from hill spawn) can be jumped onto from the more open of the two buildings. That jump is a bit harder, and it provides cover against troops coming from the trees, plus near-immunity to cavalry.
Whether or not rescheduled matches will be played from their stopping point or will be complete replays is still being debated. Precedent so far is that they are complete replays.
As for leaving players to pad a roster, it's legitimate, but you still need a match every 2 weeks to be considered active. I don't think this will be an issue with any of the teams, but on the off-chance that a team goes to 5 players I can't let them sit ranked while unable to actually play.

II. Player Substitutions & Rosters - in the case of a reschedule, will the match resume at the point it was stopped, the point the team went down to 5 players or will it restart?
A. Registration - Perhaps a provision to allow 24 hours for a team to regain 6 or players after dropping below would be fair. No one can predict the unpredictable and a team perfectly capable of replacing lost players could be unfairly (unnecessarily) penalised. Although, on that point... I'm not quite clear on the player removal process so I don't know how a team could drop below 6 players.
In the example I provided, teams could leave absent players in their roster, solving the problem. Sort of. Is that right?
