So what's the point of this thread? Can't schedule on here, can't change roster on here, and now you can't talk about the rules or admins on here either.

Monkey's ping was spiking from 50 to 150...pax was 40-50 more than normal and obviously Juv was spiking to 250 but it was a client-side issue. I removed the previous post at request of an admin....this is all I will say on the matter.

I reiterate that I checked paxman's ping and he had 20 ping more on beast coast than balion war room. He had 85 on the beast coast and 60 on balion war room. Unless I checked at a bad time, that was it. I saw the monkey ping spike and juv had a client side issue.

Sorry if it feels like I'm getting on your tails, but I want to make everything clear before something stupid happens.

Juve:
Beast Coast - 221 
Balion War Room - 201-220

Paxman
Beast Coast - 90 - 100 ( He even said his ping is a steady 80 on Beast Coast )
Balion War Room - 60

Monkey
Beast Coast - 60 ( spiking to 150 )
Balion War Room - 40 (spiking to 120 )

That right there is the reason I told you to try a different server, you guys went to Balion war room look at the pings. Each person was having atleast 20 ping difference.

Rules : "If the server chosen prior to the match is deemed unsuitable (pings higher than 90, high ping differences, frequent crashing or loss of connection, etc.) then the two team captains must decide upon a new server or agree to reschedule. All rescheduled matches and server changes must be forwarded to a tournament administrator."

I was there, and made the judgement. My judgement was to try different server if it was also unsuitable to reschedule. I followed the rules. If you dont like the judgment not my problem. Also CRAP was extremely disrespectful ( rule : Trash-talking, flaming, harassment, and unfriendly taunting is not allowed. Partaking in such activities may result in penalization, such as forfeiture of rounds. ) So now with that being said please reschedule the match and move on.

Monkeys ping was pretty stable, After GOOD said they had more than one spiking, I sat and watched the pings. Only juvs spiked. And that was over 2minutes. after 2 mins i stopped staring at stable pings and moved onto making a cup of tea!

But, its still load of bull CRAP! we agreed to play. we should of played, simple as.

Anyway, I think Zero could've made more of an effort to get the match played. When the majority of people have made the effort to be there, it's frustrating to see such little effort made for a solution to be found from a ladder admin. Infact I think he tried to throw the match out before we'd even swapped servers.

So, out of the last three scheduled matches (BkS vs BAD, CRAP vs GOOD, LAG vs RA) 0 have actually gone onto the score board.

Gotta take priorities into account sometimes and if matches are going to be trashed this easily all the time... no one's going to want to bother playing them. A more practical solution has got to be found.

I don't blame you personally but these sort of things need sorting out. There has to be clarity within the rules and the players need to know and respect them.

Also would like to state Lust is European, and so is Kain they will always have over 100 ping. But thats normal for them. Lust had 90-100 on Beast coast duel he had 115 on War Room.

I made more of effort to play the match I told you guys to change servers, but the other server was unsuitable, then following the rules next step is to reschedule. 5v5 matchs are not allowed. The verdict has been given now move on and reschedule.

85-90 and ~125 but yeah whatever... I would've played there if it that was what it would take to get the thing done.

I made more of effort to play the match I told you guys to change servers, but the other server was unsuitable, then following the rules next step is to reschedule. 5v5 matchs are not allowed. The verdict has been given now move on and reschedule.

Well we've established that the rules don't specify anything about numbers. Infact, as far as the rules are concerned this could be a duel tournament.

And we will get on with the rescheduling. Cath has already stated that. The problem is just how long it's taking us to get through this one match.

We've shown up twice now. No player issues, no ping issues, no problems whatsoever. Do we get a guarantee that next time will be the last time we have to show up?

It is a pisser but I've never expected special treatment and this is no different. Time aside, I just want to see matches getting played.

Infact one of the benefits of a ladder is that one match doesn't decide everything and teams can always come back, right up until the end. So it's strange that the admins are demanding perfect conditions for each match. Just need some more pragmatism.

In reality, it wasn't just one person as I have come to understand in this thread, but in-game chat always leaves details out and makes communication so much harder.

I say just reschedule this, and it doesn't really matter what happened.
All that needs to go down in the books is that Balions forced the reschedule and can't force another one in the next set time.

I think leaders should go on vent/mumble/Ts to schedule or right before the match just to make sure everything is in place. If it is, the match goes, if not reschedule and move on. 3 matches scheduled, none played. This is silly.

I'm not trying to make anyone "mad", but if someone comes out and accuses me of being the only one trash-talking when I clearly wasn't I'm going to call BS. I don't blame Cath and I understand his frustration but it doesn't change the fact that there were harsh words coming from both sides.

I guess it just seems unfair to say that I was the only one "flaming" when from my point of view all I was doing was trying to stop you guys from beating up on Juvenile about something that was obviously not his fault. Also, I'm not just directing this at you Catholic, but also at Lust.
