[Easter Cow]

North American Seasonal Series​

Greetings! This tournament will be 8v8s and is intended to flare things back up in the tournament scene. Though this is a NA tournament with them having signup priority, we encourage EUs' and others to join in if they are willing to deal with the server distance. While this is competitive we do still want to see older NA players and clans revive for this. The admins as listed below are Cow, Aporta, Orion, Kelquethas, and Theotian. If you run into any issues whatsoever or have any questions feel free to reach out and contact one of them.

All teams by the end of the group stage will play in the knockout stage, the knockout placements will be determined by the group stage placements, also feature older style settings such as being on fastest and having a 1200 gold limit, sign up period will end at July 16th and the tournament will start July 23rd. Good luck to those who are joining and we look forward to seeing good matches!

Tournament Format
- (1) The format is a ladder played over six weeks. At the end of this time each team will advance to playoffs and be seeded according to their score.
- (2) First place team will play the last place team and so forth.

Roster Rules
- (1) Players may only play with the IDs they originally signed up with, excluding typos. (eg; 1275822 > 1275882)
- (2) Players are allowed to join a team at any time, however after playing a match will be locked into that team.

Server Rules
- (1) Default servers for NA vs NA will be Chicago. NA vs EU will be NYC. If teams agree otherwise they may do so.
- (2) If both captains fail to pick a server, they should go to the tournament administration and ask for help. The administration will pick a server, which will be final.

Fixtures
- (1) Matchups will be determined by losing teams picking their opponents. For the first week teams will be seeded to gain pick order.
- (2) Maps will be picked by the teams. The team that gets picked will have first map pick.


Match Rules
- (1) Matches start at a minimum of 7v7. If both teams have eight players in attendance then 8v8 must be played.
- (2) Every match will consist of 4 sets, every set will be played in a first-to-3 format. After a team gets 3 round wins, the spawns and factions will be switched.
- (3) Server Settings
Game mode: Battle
Combat speed: Fastest
Friendly fire: - self 0% / friend 100%
Gold all: 120%
Round time: 210 seconds
Respawn time: 8 seconds
Camera: team member's view
Blocking: by mouse movement
- (4) Spectators are allowed unless one team wants to play without spectators. This rule doesn't apply to tournament admins, referees and streamers.
- (5) Spectating the match by joining a team after the spawn period is not allowed at any given point. If a player found spectating by joining a team, documented by footage for example, he will be suspended for one match.
- (6) Substitutions are allowed at any time.
- (7) If a player on the other team drops, teams are not required to drop a player.
- ( Five minutes are allowed in between sets and ten minutes between halves. Teams are not required to wait more than ten minutes for a team's players to arrive at the matches start.
- (9) If both teams agree unlocked camera will be allowed.

Behaviour Rules
- (1) Players are expected to be respectful and polite to their opponents on both server and forums. If players repeatedly show a poor attitude and display rudeness they will be punished by the tournament admins on a case-by-case basis.
- (2) Modifying any texture files to gain an unfair advantage are not allowed. Any player or team that is found to have unallowed modified textures will be reviewed by the admin team.
- (3) Players that attempt to utilize any kind of autoblock, aimbot or any other game modification that gives them an advantage will be immediately banned from the tournament.
