OSP Medieval 3D Art Narf's Transitional Armour Pack (Updated 07/19/10)

Users who are viewing this thread

his interests are in rus armors now, might as well take advantage of it and request different types of rus armor before moving to something else

Heya Narf - Any advice on How to get these to show up in game? Heaps of them show up in-game, but when you wear them, they make you invisible. I put the lines that came with it in the Items.txt file. Should I do it manually? :???:

I just downloaded the pack to check the .txt file.  It contains some irrelevant info that might be throwing you off.  I wrote it when I was still trying to find a way to get the heraldic armour working without using the module system, which I gave up on. Try ignoring that and just follow the instructions on the first page.  If you're not using the module system, there's no way that I know of to get the heraldic version of the mail-and-plate armour working, so any reference to it must be omitted.

Ok..what I do is, put the items in the Module system, then click the .Bat file and copy the lines in the produced Items_kinds file into the one of my mod.

But when its building it - It says 'Can't find Object: tableau_early_transitional_plate_' something like that..
Whats that for?

Not incompatible, though you'd have to mod them in. However, wouldn't these fourteenth/fifteenth century armours look decidedly out of place in a seventh century mod like Brytenwalda?

I Face palmed too

When I attempt to play with the mod, I just get this error: Get_Object failed for mesh: Ter_border_a. What gives?

I love this models!!!

And I love how good you make them!!!

Great job!!!

Amazing meshes... I messed up when installing the meshes and almost had to reinstall warband but the items was by far worth the trubble! Amazing!
EDIT: I just finished following the heraldic instructions... but it doesn't say where I should place the finished files  :?:

I've first seen your work in Blood and Steel mod, and I fell in love with it.
And now I've modded your pack into PoP, but I don't get the female versions.
I know there were in BaS, and that you mentiond making them in early pages of this thread.
Do you, or anyone else know what I might have done wrong?

EDIT:

Actually never mind.
I've allready found version with female vertexes.
Search button sometimes does miracles. In 'this topic' mode at least.

PS: Your work is really great. I loved every piece of it on it's own, even bfore I knew it was your collective work.

I think I just found a bug & idk if anyone else encountered it before too...

So it seems some armor(or armors) has the middle section of the body looking like a twisted rope when swinging at the max turn angle while on horseback for female characters... I tested it with a new save(forgot to take a screenie) & used it with a current save(which is the first 2 pix posted)... Its not a big problem for me, but it definitely makes it look weird on certain occasion...
