Right here.

Edit: Ok, I just redownloaded it, and the helmet most certainly isn't there.   The new splinted greaves aren't there either, which means that for whatever reason we're getting linked to the original version of the pack rather than the updated one.

uploaded for short time an older rus pack version with this helmet

Hi there im kinda new here and new to adding stuff in games....the last time i did that was whit Moh:AA lol so ....i figured out quite well how to install it but what do i do of the module_system_lines.txt ??

looks awsome btw and just an extra question will im there..

if i'd like to replace originals armor models white these ...how should i do it?
Simply overwrite models line inside items_kind1.txt for ''new armor line'' and keep the original name for game to load it? (used to work like that whit moh:aa)

It a little unintuitive since I just learned it myself.

Ignore the Module_System_lines.txt file because AFAIK that's a modders resource file for adding items to their mod and you're editing a python script for that. (I could be completely wrong on this, but I have the mod working without using it...so please correct me if that be the case.)

Installing: Take the Resources and Textures (that came with the mod) and copy them into your (strangely enough) resources and textures folder inside your Module folder in Native.

Then you need to open your Module.ini in the Native folder and add a line "load_mod_resource = Rus_armour_pack" w/o the quotes. I dont know if location is important, I however do put it near other load_resource = XXXXXX lines.

finally the fun part. You need to copy THE INFORMATION IN the narfs item_kind_lines.txt into the Native folders Item_kinds1.txt at the bottom of the page. BUT THEN you need to update a number at the top of the page.

this quote is theoretically how your item_kinds1.txt (the file in your native folder) should look.

(this goes on for sometime)

That number needs to be updated with how many ITEMS you are adding. So each brick of lines counts as one. So open Narfs Item_kinds_lines.txt and you will find that in terms of bricks he has 16 items. Therefore you need to update that number at the top of the page to whatever it was + 16. So if that line was in fact 619 on your item_kinds1.txt you would add 16 to it and get 635.

Do yourself a favor and if this is your first attempt at modding for Warband, Back up your Native folder so you have a whole set of unblemished files you can reference from if something goes haywire.

I hope this helped. I had a hell of a time getting it to work.

Hi again,

I actually came here because I myself have a question about the pack.

I play Crpg and the Rus Armor in that pack has a female variant that I wear which is a little less bulky. Did Narf have a female variation in his pack or did Crpg do something different?

OR!

judging from the post above me, did I somehow fowl up the installation? Because I have all the armors in the game now, they are just clearly bulked for males not females (as opposed to the cRPG armors)

Any information would be appreciated.

In newest openBRF you have option to "add feemale frame". That is fastest way if you want to have them, or you can edit armours in some moddeling program and create feemale frames manually.

@ishtaar

Thanks i was missing the load_mod_resource = Rus_armour_pack part to work.

Oh and..Back up are already made haha but thanks for warning.

Would have never figured that out... thank you very much.

You made some awesome armour for the Rus armour pack. It's currently being used in C-RPG. However, they've set it so that a default face is present (instead of your own) for the Gnzedovo helmet which is quite annoying. Do you know how to change it so that I can see my own face?

I'll need to edit the mesh a bit too pushing verts down so my luscious man beard can be seen but that's okay I know how to do that. I just have no clue how to get my own face there.

Replace the helm in the C-RPG brf file with the one from the original pack (make sure you include the 'inv_gnezdovo_helm'), then copy my line from the item_kinds file in the pack and paste in over the one in the C-RPG folder.

This is the line I put in the pack, just adjust any values that might not match with the ones in the mod's entry (i.e.the numbers in red; 640 is the price, 45 is the defense rating, and 7 is the minimum strength required, if I remember correctly).

edit- btw, that helm is rigged, so pulling verts around will require pasting the weights back on in openBRF, and maybe adjusting them somewhat
