I do believe it's very close
A mounting sense of certainity
That somewhere near I'll find
Begone to Coventry, foul beast!"

Laurence of Arabia said:I'd love to see an American war of independance Mod. I just watched the patriot yesterday. Although the English are portrayed as so evil, it's still a very good film.

Well, if you take the 7years war and concentrate on the battles on the American Continent you wouldn't see as much use of cannons. And ships have been important during all eras. In regards to the weaponry it was quite a mix. But you can read all about it in the thread I've linked to in an eralier post.

ships were not important in combat in the middle ages, and that is approximately the time period/technology level of m&b. im no expert on the 1700s, but im pretty sure that cannons were vital to combat. i dont care enough to continue this any further, so this'll be my last post on the matter
Not exactly how it happened, is it?i don't wanta a american independance watit as i am british and i dislike the americans
(no offence intended)
