napoleonic wars multiplayer crash

before i couldn't connect to servers, so i reinstalled the game, and now as soon as i click multiplayer, the game crashes to desktop :/, everything else however works fine.
 
I get it too, when i click multiplayer it crashes straight to desktop, having it look at my rgl_log i see this

The mesh: battle_track  is repeated hundreds of times???
 
Did you try to "verify integrity of game cache" ?
If not; right click on MB:W in steam and select " properties" go to "Local Files"  and select " verify integrity of game cache".
Steam will now check if all your files are correct and redownload any corrupted/missing files.

Well im not on steam or Gamersgate got it all direct from Taleworlds, all latest patches, be i see its a common problem with loads of threads popping up so ill wait for a solution

EDIT:  I uninstalled, ccleaner and clean reg, rebooted computer, installed Warband 1.151 ( Fresh download), NW 1.001 ( Fresh Download ) and same thing.
          I've spent over 3 hours tweaking and trial and error and bored now so gonna go play something else till its sorted.
 
i have the gamersgate version, however it was kinda broken so i just downloaded the game from talesworlds website, i also updated my game to the latest patch, still does not work
 
for now, my only solution would be to compleetly reinstall/redownload the game and nw.

Had to cut thousands out so i could post as it was over the 40000 character rule
So i am at a lost, there something, somewhere lol
 
i re-download everything (including warband) and now im installing, if this does not work, then im just gonna stop trying untill someone realeases a fix.

*edit: great, still crashes to desktop,  i tried everything, i reinstalled nw and warband like 10 times already, and patched them, i even did the "fix" that they posted, and that didn't work either

Well, we've waited over a day, what's 2 more hours. I just want it fixed so I can actually play the portion of the game for which I bought it.

Well you have to keep in mind that we also had problems with steam yesterday evening, so we werent really able to work on it yesterday evening. Then we have to sleep, and we have to go to work. We are currently working on fixes while being at work, which we normally dont do.....

We will upload a patch today, so dotn worry.

It was. What's also worth noting is that most people are able to play normally with steam. In perspective only a few people are having trouble.
Sadly this is something one cannot fully prevent. (Every game has its troubles on release or incompatiblities with people's rigs or w/e)
