Napoleonic Wars Campaign?

I wanted to ask if the developers if there were any plans to add a campaign to the game in the future?  Reason I ask is due to the success of the Warband single player campaign I feel it would add another aspect to the game many of us enjoy. 

Does anyone else in the community wish this had a single player campaign?

AFAIK, they won't but have said that in the future people will be able to mod it in by use of the module files that are yet to be released. (said to be a released a few months after AFAIK)

I'd support a decent single player campaign if they added some of the minor European factions to the multiplayer section first. They they'd just need to work on the map, scenes and campaign mechanics.

wouldn't make sense in this setting and the m&b gameplay, a captain coop would be more fun

Yeah... I agree with drigoly. I've just never really thought it made that much sense personally, the scale is just too small to do the warfare of the era justice... a mount and blade campaign works well in a feudal medieval setting, but in the early modern era it just doesn't seem right to me. STEAM really shouldn't have single player listed in the DLCs content page at least. FSE is going to get a lot of rage posts about that if that isn't fixed.

Great point SeanBean I just saw that steam says there is a single player. 

Great feedback guys, here is hoping in the future they mod a single player campaign!

They started doing that in the beginning but decided that their work would be best spent on the multi-player. They will release the source codes which will allow for modders to use what they did in single player i think?

Exactly what happened to me. I bought it and installed it over night, only to find that all it had was a multiplayer, a tutorial, and a custom battle.

Hope they add singleplayer. I wanted to play single player but if theyre adding it in a couple of months then I would enjoy warband native and mods for now

You should do more research on a game before you buy it. How ever multiplayer is actual the main focus for a reason: it is ridiculously fun.

Still, at least there is three total conversion mods in development for Warband set in the same era and one set in the Baroque era in the developing mod section of the forums for Warband.

It does need to be removed though.
